The E70 is the latest addition to the dB decibel range. The dB decibel blocks out noise that traditionally comes with a high performance sports tyre. Yokohama perfected a fine balance of different tread block sizes to produce difference noise frequencies, lessening road noise.

Adding a silica compound, for low rolling resistance fuel economy, the E70a is a luxury tyre for luxury vehicles.
